I'm also happy to hear that you have an interest in pursuing writing. I enjoy it myself as well, and I think people who like to write should do so. It sounds like you have some good ideas for job prospects that utilize writing and reading skills as well. <BR/><BR/>I, too, love Joan Didion (and quite a few other writers).<BR/><BR/>About tape recorders, I have done that before, back before I was properly diagnosed, I began recording myself because I was planning on killing myself at the time. I was psychotic, and to listen to those tapes now is difficult, as it was a very hard, painful time. But I haven't recorded myself since then. <BR/><BR/>I can see, however, that it might be a helpful thing to do, particularly because you described it helping you notice your symptoms when they pop up, and helping you with reality checks. This might be a good idea for me to try as well, so thank you for mentioning it.<BR/><BR/>Your writing is important, and meaningful.
