I enjoyed reading your latest entry on your...Kate,

I enjoyed reading your latest entry on your love of music and singing.

Before my daughter became ill she loved dancing. She took ballet, hip hop, modern and African dance for many years and even majored in dance in her short college career. Her illness overtook her and she was no longer able to concentrate on anything.

Kate, I hope you continue to express yourself through music. It sounds to me like that side of you really wants to come out.

I'm not musical at all but I love almost all music genres including opera and I do appreciate people who have the talent to sing and play music.

Keep it up Kate.

YayaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7239140084937897595.post-82015664902524841272007-01-17T20:39:00.000-05:002007-01-17T20:39:00.000-05:00Unlike you, Kate, I grew up singing. My parents , ...Unlike you, Kate, I grew up singing. My parents , both of them, do not like instrumental music, only the human voice, and so we only heard vocal music, and naturally sang along as my mother was always encouraging us to do. I sang until high school when a too high note in front of a non-friend, made her complain about my squeaking...I stopped for several years...then I sang again when people told me I sang really well. But I've stopped now, after smoking ruined my voice. I no longer smoke, and I have hopes my singing voice will come back. But it is too devastating to sing poorly after singing so well for years that I can't bear it. Though not singing at all is also awful. Just thought I'd share this with you...Fondly, Pam BDAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
